The Oro approach is rooted in two key principles: quality and flavor.

Our fresh pasta contains no artificial flavors or colors, no GMOs, no preservatives, and nothing synthetic. Everything we use comes from nature.

Not satisfied by convention, over the years Chef Laine Myers tested a multitude of combinations using ancient grains and arrived at a fresh, golden-hued pasta dough recipe she’s proud of— one that delivers a nutrient-rich product teeming with flavor, texture, and digestibility. Those who’ve tasted her pasta agree.

We’re glad you’re here and are pleased to offer many unique options at regional farmers’ markets and at pop-ups around town. We welcome the opportunity to work special events and through our “CSA” we’re able to do what we love and revel in the joy delicious things bring you.


ABOUT CHEF LAINE MYERS

Chef Laine Myers’ goal is simple: to highlight the best flavors with the best ingredients, often coming from farms and green markets.

Myers received a nomination as Elby’s Best Chef of 2019 and 2020 and was selected by Food & Wine Magazine to compete in Barilla’s Pasta World Championship for the United States in 2020.

In 2021, she landed a spot on Eater DC Top 22 Restaurants in Richmond and won the DC-Chesapeake Starchefs Rising Stars 2022 award.
